Three pieces of antique 19th Century Russian metal/enamelware, c1890. The collection comprises two small plates/dishes and a circular pot.
The plates have stunning enamel decoration, which includes the Russian Coat of Arms on one. The pot is a good weight, and again has good geometric enamel work. The lid is decorated with a bird in flight.
All items are a good weight for their size, and we believe they are bronze with applied enamel work. The colours of the enamel are still vibrant, and they are all good decorative pieces. Overall condition is good, with only minor surface wear/rubbing - exactly as you would expect from pieces of this age. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the items.
