A large mid-20th Century African Tikar tribal bronze mask, c1950. This is a large, impressive and very heavy example, cast in the traditional lost-wax method.
The main body is profusely decorated and there is a lovely large animal finial to the top of the mask. It has good colour/patina and is in good original condition in line with age and use.
