An interesting antique early 20th Century African bronze tribal chalice, c1920. The piece originates from the Tikar tribal area of Cameroon, and is nicely cast in the traditional lost wax process.

It is an unusual piece, decorated with three large masks and standing on tripod legs in the form of snakes. It has a great vintage tribal look.

The bronze has aged well with great colour/patina, and it is in good original condition with only very minor surface wear. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the item.

Size: 26 cm tall x 10 cm wide.
