A rare and unusual antique late 19th/early 20th Century cast iron treadle-type dental drill, c1900. This is a substantial piece of early medical engineering in cast iron, chrome and brass, and it has a great look.

There is a brass maker's plate on the footplate which either says 'CAS' or 'C&S' (it is clear but in very stylised text). We are not experts in dentists' drills, but this one looks complete, and overall condition is good with only minor age-related surface wear.

Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact us with any questions or if you would like to view the item.
